Stopping Squeaky Fan belts:

Here’s a great tip for you that suffer with squeaky fan belts:”Dow-Corning Compound #111 Valve Lubricant and Sealant”. You need to get a tube of this to have around! I use it all the time whenever a belt starts to chatter. You don’t use more than a smear of this on the belt and it goes away…for a long time, but not forever. My 5.3 oz tube has been with me for years, and it will probably be a lifetime supply, even if I share it with my friends. I think I got it at my local Chevrolet dealership parts counter.
